Removed hinge pin from raw material and cut hinge to length. Cleaned up end cuts, layed out holes, drilled with #40 and deburred. Found laying Sharpie on the bench and shim as required to get the 1/4" or 19/64" offset of the rivet lines worked well while moving the hinge along the bench in contact with the Sharpie point to draw the line. Tried to drill holes on some scrap by clamping a guide on the drill press at the right distance. Didn't come out as straight as desired. The drill bit was also wandering, so I lightly center punched the locations before drilling the hinges the traditional way: hand layout, centerpunch and drill.
